Daniel Bowers Kennedy Champaign, Illinois Solo Practitioner
In addition to traffic and appellate advocacy, Daniel B. Kennedy has tried more than 500 cases involving allegations of child abuse, neglect, dependency, delinquency and termination of parental rights. He is the Adjunct Professor of Juvenile Abuse and Neglect Law at the University of Illinois College of Law and also teaches law at the University of Illinois School of Social Work. He helped to develop the training standards for Illinois guardians ad litem in abuse and neglect cases and is certified by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services to train guardians ad litem. Other areas of practice include family law, adoption, guardianship, special education law, domestic violence and general criminal defense.
